why we do what we do

Welcome! Are you here because you want to save our planet from climate catastrophe, or because you are sick and tired of paying high prices for gasoline or because you are looking for a cool way to get around town in a car that costs closer to $20,000 than to $50,000? If so, then we are on the same team.

My first car was a Honda Accord because at the time (1981) it got 50 mpg on the highway and after the OPEC Oil Embargo, I was looking to save money on fuel. As you will see below, we started our EV journey with a one-person, 70 mph, EV that drives like a car but is technically a motorcycle because it has just 3 wheels. A lot of people love it still, but it’s not a four-seasons car (not for driving in the snow, ice or rain), hence the development of the next level, 4-wheel, safety certified car version ... the Point5.
